Ina Garten is well-known American cookbook author as well as an Emmy Award-winning host on Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa that began in 2002 and aired 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten began her professional career at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy and budget papers. Though she found the career intellectually stimulating initially eventually she stopped her pursuit and purchased a small speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she decided to sell it. After that, she started the first book. Then, a number of books were released and she also contributed to magazine articles. Between them she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. The range of products includes cooking equipment, to food items and storage containers. Ina is an aspiring cook who has not been to a cooking class or worked in the kitchen. She is well-known for her unpretentious style of entertainment as well as her simple food preparation.
