Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American author, performer and actress who is well-known for her character Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. The stage debut of her career started in the mid 1950s when she appeared in Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then she appeared in several Broadway shows before becoming the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. That same year, she released Her first album of music It's Time to Tina. Her first appearance into Hollywood was when she played Griselda as Griselda in the film God's Small Acre, which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread acclaim. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. She enrolled in Actors Studio, New York during this period and became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The next memorable role she played was in 1964. The actress signed with CBS to play Ginger Grant. Louise continued to juggle her career in between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing more serious roles, as contrast to her image of being a glamour girl. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary, although she made a mark as a successful television director with several series including Supernatural and The 100. Born in Essex on August 28, 1965. Her family relocated to Toronto at the age of three which is where she spent the rest of growing up and in adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the role, and has been settling down there ever since.
