Coleman was born in Blackpool Lancashire. She attended Arnold School Blackpool, where she achieved straight As for her A-levels. She regrets that she didn't have a typical schooling when talking about her experience at Emmerdale. Coleman, while still in high school, was a member of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They staged the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. The performance received praise with a prestigious award, and the production was praised by the critics. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas while she was auditioning at drama schools. The audition took place in 2005. Coleman was nominated twice for Awards in the year 2007. Coleman won two nominations in 2007 for Best Newcomer in the British Soap Awards; and the most Popular Newcomer for the National Television Awards. It was the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated Coleman for both categories: Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and Best Dramatic Performance category. Coleman got a nomination in the category of Best Actress from the TV Choice Awards. The 21st of March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat confirmed at a press conference that Coleman would play the Doctor's companion alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat chose her due to how well she could work with Smith and also because she could speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Elle has been in the film industry since 1987. However she has been more prominent on TV rather than in movies. Eva has appeared in a number of television characters, however her roles as Dr. Maria Santos from All My Children and Detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami have stood out. The role as the character Dr. Maria Santos in All My Children garnered the actress the two Daytime Emmy nominations. This allowed her to show off her musical talent. Eva is also an entrepreneur, philanthropist and philanthropist. Her third husband is the father of her daughter.
