Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco, a Canadian-American singer and songwriter. She has produced many studio records. Her songs are classified by the label as alternative and folk. They also incorporate elements of hip-hop music, jazz, and punk. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement and is among the first artists to create her own label 1990. DiFranco was a born on the 23rd of September 1970, in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Dante Americo DiFranco. Both her parents were both from Montreal descent. Ani Difrasco wrote and sang the hit song "32 Flavors". This song was released on DiFranco's 1995 sixth album Not a Pretty Girl.
